Why Kibaki’s grandson Sean Andrew doesn’t want children

Kenyan model and content creator Sean Andrew has firmly stated that he has no plans to have children now or in the future.

During a Q&A session with his followers on Instagram on Sunday evening, the grandson of Kenya’s third president, the late Emillio Mwai Kibaki, said he already has enough trouble taking care of his dogs.

He also hinted that he has many other things to deal with, which perhaps makes becoming a parent a step he doesn’t want to take at all.

“Will you have children?” a fan asked him.

Sean replied, “I don’t want any, I have more than enough trouble with these (dogs) and more.”

He accompanied his response with a picture of four dogs lying on the floor. However, this is not the first time the 30-year-old has spoken about not wanting to have children.

About two years ago, he responded to another Instagram user’s question about having children, saying he had known for a long time that he didn’t want to be a father.

“Why don’t you want to be a father one day?” one of his fans asked.

“It’s just that I don’t want kids. That’s something I’ve known for a while now,” Andrew replied.

In 2021, when asked if he had ever thought about getting married and settling down with children, he said:

“Yes, I have thought about getting married and settling down, but I have never thought of or seen myself as a father. Maybe I can be a husband, but I don’t want children.”
