Why Uhuru look-alike ditched 4 bedroom house gifted to him in Kilimani
Michael Njogo also known as Uhuru wa Umoja has revealed why he moved from Kilimani back to Umoja.
Njogo was moved to Kilimani after he rose to fame for his close resemblance to former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He left a 4-bedroom house he was gifted and returned to Umoja, a neighborhood that he and his family had gotten used to.
“I was moved to Kilimani but life changed.
If For example, I was using 10K per month I was now using Sh20,000.
I had to go to Korogocho and shop.
I told them(the company) I couldn’t live that life, so I went back to Umoja.
I went back to my old house, which I would pay Sh15,000.”
Have you ever met ex-President Uhuru Muigai?
‘I have never met nor talked to Uhuru.
Everywhere I go people say I look like him.”
Njogo says he decided to go back to the life he was living before as it was not putting any pressure on him.
“It is something that can disrupt your life, If you have a soft heart you can end up depressed.”
Njogo says at the time he had a driver.
He has since gone back to what he did best, supervising buildings and providing his clients with the best if such services.
