Nimempata! Anerlisa says she’s found who leaked her WhatsApp chats
Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai a day after revealing that one of her friends betrayed her by leaking a private chat of her asking for a fund raiser now claims she has sound out who the culprit is.
The entrepreneur sharing on her Instagram stories credited modern technology in helping her fish out the “snake” in her garden.
According to Anerlisa, the said individual had used a pseudo account to send the screen grab of her urgent plea to social commentator and X big wig Cyprian Nyakundi but she had somehow been able to track the account back to them.
“You can play with fake accounts but you cannot play with technology. Glad to have found out who leaked my message,” the Nero Water CEO shared on her Instagram stories.
She went on to caution people to be weary of backstabbing people in their lives, who pretend to be in their team but really aren’t.
Anerlisa also intimated that she had officially cut ties with the lady who had leaked their WhatsApp group chat.
“The person smiling with you could be your Judas, #Chapter Closed,” the last of her post read.
According to the leaked chat Anerlisa’s fiancé, Josiah Kariuki, CEO of Silica Booster Limited (SBL), was charged on May 6, by the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court for allegedly manufacturing, distributing, and selling substandard fertilizer.
A move Anerlisa claims is propaganda from his competitors who are trying to sabotage his business.
Trouble ensued once his bail money was set to Sh3 million from the expected Sh1 million that allegedly the Nero Water CEO knew they were supposed to pay.
In a bid to compel her friends to help her raise about Sh. 1.2 million as Josiah’s friends had already helped raise Sh. 1.8 million, Anerlisa formed a WhatsApp group chat that comprised only 6 members.
She went on to promise that the money raised would be refunded once her man’s bank accounts were unfrozen.
Reacting to the leaked chat, Anerlisa took to her socials where she started by confirming that yes she was in a fix following her man’s bail being changed unexpectedly as seen in the screen grab shared by a blogger on X.
“When you thought you had real friends then boom, a blogger sends you a screenshot from a very enclosed group. Tomorrow could be you. At least I know I cannot count on everyone and that’s okay. And yes we managed to get out without your help. We good. #God First,” part of her post addressing the issue read.
