We are not involved in Jacque Maribe’s appointment-PSC

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has denied allegations that it hired former Royal Media Services journalist Jacque Maribe as the head of communication in the Ministry of Public Service.

In a press release issued on Thursday, the commission clarified that it had no role in Maribe’s appointment to the position.

“For the record, the said position will be filled through a competitive recruitment process should a vacancy arise,” the statement reads, attributed to Commission chair Anthony Muchiri.

“Kuria is quoted to have said that ‘it is true except that I am not the one who appointed her but the Public Service Commission,’” it adds.
