Ruth Matete emerges online as questions of whereabouts arise

Gospel singer and minister Ruth Matete posted her first photo on her social media in a very long time. The former TPf winner captioned the picture above with a message of gratitude.

“Nilijua utafanya, Ila sikujua ni kwa namna hii.Thank you Lord 🙌🏽” she said.

Her last post on her social media was in October 2023. Her fans mentioned they had noticed her social media absence.

Ruth has been in the US, and shares small tidbits of her life in the West. From videos in the snow with her daughter Toluwa, to shopping, Ruth might have silently relocated abroad.

The Mwaminifu singer also showed a video singing for an audience in Ontario Canada with Pastor Joan Wairimu tagged.

A worship session is scheduled for 4th May.  She joins a host of Kenyans who have been abroad in search of greener pastures.
