Gachagua engages Kenyans in Los Angeles, says his party will address nation’s challenges

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has met with Kenyans living and working in Los Angeles, Southern California, as part of his ongoing two-month tour of the United States to popularize his political party, the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP), ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

Speaking during the engagement, Gachagua expressed deep gratitude for the hope and faith that the Kenyan diaspora holds for the country’s future. He praised their culture of hard work, care, and responsibility, noting that such values could be replicated back home if systems were functioning effectively.

“I am glad they keep tabs with the goings-on in our motherland. Their concerns are my concerns, and what all Kenyans are asking for rhyme; pain must end,” he said.

Gachagua highlighted healthcare, security, meaningful economic growth, infrastructure development, and education as priority areas that must be addressed to improve the lives of Kenyans.

The former Deputy President’s US tour has seen him engage Kenyan communities in several cities as he seeks to strengthen support for his party and outline his vision for the country ahead of the next elections.
