
President Ruto to grace African Chiefs of Defence Conference 2025
President William Ruto will today (Tuesday) grace the African Chiefs of Defence Conference 2025 (ACHOD25) opening ceremony in Nairobi.
ACHOD serves as a premier forum for military leaders from across Africa to convene, collaborate and address pressing security challenges.
Through dialogue, knowledge exchange and partnership-building, the conference aims to foster regional stability and enhance collective security efforts.
The conference today in Nairobi is the second to be held in Africa.
Elsewhere, the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) is set to hold its National Defence College Graduation ceremony today.
Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya will preside over the event at the National Defence College in Karen.
The graduation marks the culmination of the NDC one year Grade 1 course comprising of participants from the Kenya Defence Forces, Allied Forces and personnel from Ministries and State Departments.
