NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 24 – Education Principal Secretary Julius Bitok has clarified that Mathematics will remain compulsory in primary and secondary schools.

According to Bitok, this follows extensive consultations with stakeholders where the proposal to make it optional was dropped.
