Mike Sonko arrives in court rocking Gucci from head to toe

In the court where the talk is usually centred around legal matters, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko managed to steal the limelight with an ensemble that spoke volumes.

On Monday, Sonko appeared before Kiambu Law Courts draped in a full Gucci outfit.

Gucci is an Italian luxury brand of fashion and leather goods. The brand  is synonymous with luxury, style and opulence.

 From the white fedora hat to a white Gucci shirt down to white Gucci shoes.Overall, he wore a black pair of trousers and a coat, all Gucci, with a red lapel.

He also had on a red bowtie with a golden ornament with his signature rings and a watch.

Sonko is arguably one of the most fashionable politicians whose eye-catching dress code mirrors a man who knows a thing or two about class.

He is unapologetic about his love for fashion.

His dressing room is akin to a one-stop shop of world-decorated brands such as Supreme, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. 

During a recent recording shared on social media, the former Nairobi county chief gave a blow-by-blow account of what it takes to spot his look. “I want to show my fans how I dress,” Sonko said in one of his latest recordings of a tour in his dressing room.

To him, dressing is not just putting on a shirt, or trousers and walking out; it is a deliberate step that marries fashion and occasion.

For him, his shoes, boxers, trousers, hats, belts and shirts must match to the core, Sonko said during the recent recording online.

“The outfit has to be matching from top to bottom,” the former Nairobi Governor said.
