DJ Joe Mfalme shares statement after being released

DJ Joe Mfalme has been declared a state witness in the murder case of Kabete police detective Felix Kelian. He and two others have been released after 14 days in remand.

Mfalme has released a statement thanking his supporters and well-wishers for being there for him

“We want to sincerely thank you for having stood firmly with DJ Joe and his team during this challenging time. We are relieved, and do welcome the outcome of the investigations carried out as they have exonerated DJ Joe Mfalme and his team, Eric Kariuki and Simon Wanjiru,” read the statement shared on Instagram.

As a result of the outcome of the investigations, Mfalme and the two other people have been released today by the court sitting at Kibera.

“We have advised our legal representatives to follow up with Allan Ochieng’s case and provide legal assistance.”

“Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Inspector Felix Kelian’s family and we extend our most heartfelt sympathies. Thank you for your prayers continued support, God Bless.”

Meanwhile, Allan Ochieng aka Ballo will appear today at Kiambu Law Courts.
