Wandayi says Ruto has enhanced Kenya’s reputation on international stage
Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi has commended President William Ruto for his efforts to enhance Kenya’s standing and reputation on the international stage.
While defending Ruto’s record since taking office, Wandayi highlighted that the president’s initiatives to strengthen Kenya’s diplomatic and economic ties with other nations are yielding positive results.
He cited this as evidence of the president’s commitment to transforming the country.
“Recently, I was in Baku, Azerbaijan. Kenya is indeed being held in higher regard. When you mention you are from Kenya and represent President William Ruto, everyone rushes to greet you,” he remarked.
Wandayi expressed confidence that Ruto has a solid agenda for the nation, noting that Kenya will soon achieve significant socio-economic milestones due to the new policies implemented by the administration.
He also praised the president for fostering national unity, asserting that this will ensure sustainable development for the country.
“We must commend President William Ruto for elevating Kenya. We believe the economy will continue to grow, the country will thrive, and the citizens will benefit,” he stated.
“President William Ruto has demonstrated that he cares about the unity of the nation. He has opened a new chapter in the country’s leadership by choosing to create a government that includes all Kenyans. This is the Kenya we want,” said Opiyo Wandayi, the Energy Cabinet Secretary.
He reaffirmed that the Orange Democratic Movement will continue to support the President and his agenda for transformation.
“Mimi nimekuwa mkereketwa mkubwa wa chama cha ODM. Na ukiona nimeingia kwa serkali kama waziri, ujue sisi hatujabahatisha hata kidogo. Tuko ndani ya serikali kamili na tutafanya kazi chini ya rais Wiliam Ruto mpaka dakika ya mwisho bila wasi wasi,” said Wandayi, who previously served as the Minority Leader of the National Assembly before his Cabinet appointment.
