Emotional Nyaboke Moraa thanks Kenyans for their overwhelming support
Veteran actress Nyaboke Moraa through a TikTok live session has expressed immense gratitude to all those who have supported her following the demise of her teen daughter Marrie Achieng, whom she shared with Blak Aende.
Marrie, Aende’s firstborn with actress Nyaboke Moraa, passed away on Sunday, July 28, in Syokimau.
Speaking during the poignant live session Moraa noted she’d received overwhelming support from the community around her and her fans as well marveling over the fact that she was never really alone as she navigated mourning and coping with the loss.
“Nyumba yangu siku hizi ni ya kila mtu, watu wanakuja wengi some of them I don’t even know. But people are always coming,” the actress candidly said as she recalled how 3 days ago, she’d celebrated her birthday through tears and joy.
Moraa went on to express her appreciation noting she was deeply moved by all the support she’d been accorded.
Additionally, the months had been a blur for her thus the support really helped keep her afloat.
“That time, during the funeral, so many people from TikTok came. But that time… I couldn’t even… you know that time by the way I don’t even know who came or who didn’t come, what was happening but thank you for your support.
Thank you so much for your prayers, thank you for your support both physically, financially, spiritually… yote yote. I truly appreciate and do not take any of it for granted. I don’t take it for granted at all,” the former Tahidi High actress emotionally said her voice flattered.Â
19-year-old Achieng’s death came slightly over a month after, Nyaboke had lost her brother.
