Last Words Winnie Bwire uttered 3 Hours Before her Death

The mother of Winnie Bwire Ndubi has revealed during the actress’ burial ceremony that she was not talking a day before her death.

But a friend to Bwire has opened up saying the only time she spoke was during a WhatsApp conference call three hours before she died.

“I remember we had a WhatsApp conference call three hours before she died. When I was speaking to her mum, I told her to take the phone to Winnie and she said ‘I doubt she will be able to speak.’ I told her to just take the phone lets try, Winnie actually picked, I told her ‘Winnie are you going to fight for us?’ She said ‘Yes, I will fight.’ Little did we know that was the last words she said before she passed on.”

She was airlifted to Kenya a few days after her death and was received in Mombasa where a memorial and a candle lit vigil was done. On Friday 20th, her body was taken to her hometown in Kakamega. 

Bwire will be laid to rest today in Mumias, Kakamega county. She succumbed to breast cancer while receiving treatment in Turkey.
