Zari Contrasts Late Ex Ivan Ssemwanga with Diamond Platnumz

Zari Hassan recently opened up about love and relationships during an interview with her second-born son, Raphael Tlale, on his YouTube channel, where she was his first guest.

Raphael asked his mother about the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for her. Zari candidly shared that his father, Ivan Semwanga, was not a romantic man.

“Your father wasn’t romantic,” she said. “He just splashed money on me. If I wanted a new car, he’d trade the one I was driving and get me a new one. I don’t know if that’s romantic or just because he could afford it.”

Raphael suggested that this might have been his father’s way of expressing love.

When asked about Diamond Platnumz, Zari described him as very romantic. “Everyone could see it. He was involved in his woman’s life,” she said.

Zari also mentioned that she’s received lavish gifts, including expensive flowers and diamonds, but what she appreciates the most are thoughtful gestures. “It’s the thought that counts,” she stressed.

Interestingly, she did not mention her current husband, Shakib Cham, during the discussion.
