These 4 Counties To Experience Power Interruptions Today

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced power interruptions in several parts of the country on Monday, the 9th.

In a statement released on Sunday evening, the company mentioned that the power interruptions are due to maintenance work that will be carried out on the power stations.

The four counties that will be affected by the interruptions are below:

NAIROBI COUNTY

• Time: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
• Affected Areas: Mobil Plaza, Gertrude Children’s Hospital, Serengeti Rd, Naivasha Rd, Muthaiga, Part of Limuru Rd, 6th Parklands Ave, and surrounding areas.

KIAMBU COUNTY

• Time: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
• Affected Areas: Farmers Choice, Nyambare, Murengeti, Kinyogori, Uplands Police Station, Githirioni, Mutosi, Nyamweru, Kwaregen, and surrounding areas.

VIHIGA COUNTY

1. • Affected Areas: Eregi TTC, Eregi Mission, Eregi Distillers, Madivini, Shianjetso, Kegondi Health Center, Lusiola Sec School, Chandumba, Kigulienyi, Mudete Tea Factory, Mudete Market, Evojo, Bendera, Kisatiru, Vohovole, Mudete Water Pump, Digula, Wasundi, Kiritu, Jemovo, Kisangula, Simboyi, Inyali, Muhalia, Munoywa, Hamnoywa, Mutambi, Gaigedi, and surrounding areas

KISII COUNTY

• Affected Areas: Nyosia, Keumbu, Eremo, Keboba, Nyabisabo, Ibeno, Nyanturago, Kabosi, Irondi, Kiamokama Factory, Kirwa, Kangwana, Chirichiro, Riondonga, Mwembe, Borangi, Nyamache Factory, Maji Mazuri, Kionduso, Kebuko, Nyamache Market, Kiobegi, Gionseri, Tukiamwana, Igare, Emenwa, Boitangare, Nyamagwa, and surrounding areas.
