Philanthropist Wanja Mwaura fundraises for 1.6 million after being diagnosed with an Autoimmune disease

She further explained

“The doctors told me it was not curable as the cause of any autoimmune disease is unknown, but the symptoms can be managed.

That is why I can’t walk because the brain doesn’t send a signal to my legs to move.”

Wanja explained that she is hopeful she will walk again.

” By God’s grace, I can walk again because it has not affected my spine.

There is a high possibility I will walk again.”

She is currently seeking financial help to travel to Israel and seek treatment.

The treatment is to help her walk again because the autoimmune disease is not curable.

She is seeking Sh 2.5 million., she has so far raised 1.6 million.

‘It is frustrating not to be able to take yourself to the bathroom and the shower.”
