New Range Rover written off after fatal accident while being delivered to the customer

A new Range Rover being delivered to a customer in Nairobi was written of after a driver delivering the high end car was involved in an accident.

The car did not have a number plate and was still using a temporary one, the owner was to register it once he received it.

The accident which happened on Tuesday at 7:00 AM occurred at Maji Ya Chumvi on the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway which is considered a blackspot.

The driver and an unidentified female passenger were confirmed dead.

Three other people were admitted in hospital with serious injuries.

The identity of the Range Rover owner remains unknown.

The Rover was involved in a head on collision with a Canter ferrying grains according a to a police report.
