Jeff Koinange delivers shoes to Kenya’s ‘Goliath’ (watch)

Marongo, who is 27 years old, refers to himself as the tallest Gen Z in Kenya, a title he embraces despite the challenges that come with his height.

His towering presence has made him a familiar figure in places like Kangemi, where he often spends his time hustling, though he previously lived in Kayole.

His stature even made him a spectacle during anti-government protests, where he caught the attention of the police.

Known online as “Goliath Gen Z,” Marongo weighs 135 kilograms and has amassed a following of 15,000 on TikTok, where his height and large feet continue to fascinate his fans. His social media bio proudly reads, “BRADLEY Tallest in 254.”

However, Marongo’s height also brings unwanted attention and sometimes ridicule. He shared that children often stare at him in awe, and some people take photos without his permission.

His bed is custom-made, yet he still can’t fully stretch out. When it comes to clothing, he prefers baggy shirts and shorts, as finding trousers that fit him is a challenge.

As for shoes, he often resorts to second-hand markets, although the stares he attracts while shopping can be uncomfortable.

Thanks to the efforts of Jeff Koinange and Patrick Igunza, Marongo may finally have a pair of shoes that fit him properly—a small but significant victory in a life filled with unique challenges.
