6 lessons Terence Creative learned from being a dad at 21

Comedian turned film producer and director Terrence Creative has shared lessons he learned after becoming a parent at the tender age of 21 as well as a shocking revelation that he is a published author.

Partaking in the global ‘throwback Thursday (TBT) trend the digital content creator shared a carousel of photos showcasing his youthful self, hanging out with his first-born daughter.

In some of the photos, a skinny Terence with high cheekbones and a small afro could be seen smiling broadly as his daughter, a wee toddler then stood in front of him.

In another pic, he could be seen cradling his newborn who’s wrapped in a pink shawl.

Sharing what it meant to be a dad while still figuring life out the now father of 2 wrote, “Becoming a parent at 21 taught me amazing lessons that I appreciate to date. I learned how to control my emotions, deal with stress, and handle difficult situations with more composure.

It gave me a different perspective on life, I gained a new perspective on what truly matters, often focusing more on long-term goals and survival,”.
