5 counties to experience power interruptions today

Kenya Power and Lighting Company has released a list of areas in five counties that are set to experience power interruption on Sunday.

The scheduled interruption is meant to allow for maintenance exercises. The list is below:

NAIROBI COUNTY

• Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Affected Areas: Part of Ngecha Rd, Serenity Spa, Mitini Estate, Lake View Estate, Ngecha Villa Estate, and adjacent customers.

BUNGOMA COUNTY

• Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Affected Areas: West Kenya Sugar Factory Naitiri, Nabingenge Market, Nabingenge Polytechnic, Nabingenge Borehole & Primary School, Lungai Village, and adjacent customers.

KAKAMEGA COUNTY

• Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Affected Areas: Musaga, Samisi Market, Kalenda, Shirugu Safaricom, Malekha Dispensary, Shipala, Lukala, and adjacent customers.

NYERI COUNTY

• Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Affected Areas: Ihithe Market, Ihithe Secondary & Primary Schools, Mukarara Market, Gahuthi Water Pump, Kiamutiga Village, Gatherere Village, Hohoini PCEA, Hubuini Market, Kina TBC, Kahuro PCEA, and adjacent customers.

TAITA TAVETA COUNTY

• Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Affected Areas: Tana Salt, Kensalt, Kurawa Salt, Ngao Hospital, Ngao Water, Tarasaa Market, Odha, Safaricom Booster Chara, Safaricom Booster Kibusu, Msumarini, Mwenda Pole, Part of Marereni, and adjacent customers.
