20-Year-old, Joanitor Mbulwa who fell off the 10th floor of a Kasarani building buried

Joanitar Mbulwa, the 20-year-old girl who died after falling from the 10th floor of a Kasarani apartment, has been laid to rest.

She was buried at her parent’s home in Nduu village, Mutituni location, Machakos County.

Mbulwa was the eldest daughter of Antony Nzomo and Nancy Mukui.

She had two siblings a brother and a sister.

CCTV footage released to the public showed Mbulwa’s last moments before she fell to her death.

Citizen TV in its Sunday, Feb 4 bulletin, acquired CCTV footage of the moments the two entered the apartment.

Mbulwa and an unidentified man allegedly checked into the short-stay apartment at 3 am after a night out.

 They are believed to have gone clubbing at a Roysambu entertainment spot on Friday, Feb 2, 2023

They drove to the Thome apartment for more drinks.

 In the footage, the pair was seen walking towards the door of an apartment.

Later in the footage police were seen covering her body before carrying it away.

She is said to have been wearing the same red t-shirt only, that she was wearing when she walked in with the man.

The man was also found stabbed several times. He was unconscious inside the room with eight stab wounds.

The court allowed police to detain him for 14 days to enable them to complete investigations into the death.

The man caught on camera with Mbulwa before her death is currently in detention.
